Additionally, all 2025 Honda Pilot trim levels come with a powerful 285-hp V6 engine that helps the Pilot tow up to 3,500 lbs as standard or up to 5,000 lbs with optional all-wheel drive.
The EX-L is a mid-range trim, offering a balance of comfort features and affordability, while the Touring trim is more luxury-focused and particularly well-suited for those who spend a lot of time on the road.
The Elite trim expands upon the Touring trim with standard all-wheel drive and additional technology features. Those features include a head-up display, a larger 10.2-inch driver information interface, and ventilated front seats. If you want a fully loaded 2025 Honda Pilot, opt for the Elite trim.
The TrailSport is an off-road and adventure-focused trim, featuring an off-road-tuned suspension and all-wheel drive system, plus all-terrain tires. Additionally, the TrailSport comes with the TrailWatch™ camera system, which provides a live feed of the surrounding terrain on the 9-inch color touch-screen.
The 2025 Honda Pilot TrailSport is ideal for those who enjoy camping and other outdoor activities or want a three-row SUV that can handle snow and adverse conditions.
As the name implies, the Black Edition trim adds black exterior styling and black wheels, giving the Honda Pilot a more modern aesthetic. The Black Edition also features red interior stitching and red ambient interior lighting to further enhance the unique, sporty look.
The Black Edition comes with all of the same technology and luxury features you get on the top-of-the-line Elite trim, making it the ideal choice for those who want a fully loaded Pilot with a modern appearance.
The Sport, EX-L, and Touring trims all get up to 19 city and 27 highway MPG** when equipped with the standard front-wheel drive (FWD).
The 2025 Honda Pilot comes with five drive modes as standard: Normal, ECON, Snow, Tow, and Sport. When equipped with all-wheel drive, two more drive modes are added: Trail and Sand.
Normal is the default mode that gives the best balance in efficiency and comfort. ECON enhances fuel efficiency. Sport quickens throttle response, while improving acceleration. Snow dampens the throttle response, increasing grip. Tow lowers the gears for better towing ability, and increases steering feel. Trail mode adds greater obstacle capability by changing the AWD and brake systems. Finally, Sand mode enhances performance on sand terrain by optimizing all systems for those conditions.
